INGREDIENTS:
For the crust:
- 2 packages of graham crackers
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 4 oz of melted butter
For the filling:
- 6 whole eggs + 2 egg yolks
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 2/3 cup of key lime juice
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Crust Preparation:
- Using a Vitamix XL blender, pulverize the graham crackers into a fine crumb consistency.
- Add granulated sugar to the blender for a touch of sweetness.
- Slowly pour melted butter into the blender while mixing until the mixture is well combined.
- Prepare a springform pan by generously spraying it with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
- Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the pan, using your hands to create an even layer. Press the mixture against the sides of the pan to form a crust edge.
2. Baking the Crust:
